While enjoying Seán McGinley’s Letter from NYC yesterday, we couldn’t help a small twinge of jealousy at those huge advertising displays! Will the day come when the Abbey Arts Centre will look something like this?
Not to everyone’s taste, perhaps, but think of the drone shots in Obituary!
The first preview of Irish Repertory Theatre's New York production of Brian Friel's Translations took place last night. We have no doubt it was a great success, not least because it stars our good friend, Sean McGinley in the lead role of Hugh.
Sean very kindly found time in his busy schedule to send us this message in the shadow of the Empire State Building.
Needless to say, we reciprocate our best wishes to Sean for the run of this wonderful show. Come back to see us soon.
We're delighted to announce the Shortlists for our Schools Competitions, 2023. All winners already, of course but best wishes to every one of you for the final.
Results will be streamed on our YouTube Channel at 2.00 pm on Friday, November 10th.
