Jack Lukeman (Jack L) in Concert

November 7th | 8pm
Abbey Arts Centre Book ticket

We’re thrilled to bring the great Jack Lukeman (Jack L) to the Abbey Arts Centre. The Irish Times has described him as ‘’an Irresistible force of nature.’’ The Guardian said of him, ‘’think Frank Sinatra, Scott Walker, Jacques Brel….Yes we are talking that good.’’ And The Washington Post declared Jack L, ‘’….second to none.’’ Do not miss the chance to hear this world class singer in the intimate surroundings of the Rory Gallagher Theatre.

Jack Lukeman (aka Jack L.) has spent the best part of thirty years performing in venues around the country and across Europe. This November, we will be delighted to welcome him to Ballyshannon for a concert in the Abbey Arts Centre!

Jack started his musical career busking his way across Europe before returning to Dublin and performing with The Black Romantics who held a residency in the Da Club. Three decades since have brought a dozen albums for Jack, tours with Jools Holland, dates with Sting, a collaboration with the Brooklyn Philharmonic, and a touring life that has barely paused.
We’re looking forward to the show on the Saturday night at the Allingham Arts Festival.

Support on the night comes from Tríona O’Neill, returning to her hometown for one night only! Tríona is a singer-songwriter whose sound draws together a blend of soul and folk. Last year saw the launch of her EP ‘Haven’t Got a Title Yet’ on In the DRT records. Her songs showcase her vocal prowess with soaring melodies and lyrics centred by story, making her performances truly captivating. She has shared the stage with many artists including Brit Award nominee Laura Marling and has toured around the UK, Ireland, Europe and the US.
